Apple Cider Vinegar is made from cold-pressed, whole apples grown in the Elgin district of the Western Cape. A natural fermentation process keeps all the natural properties of these apples, including the "Mother". Mother can be seen as the stingy, wispy floating bits in the vinegar, which is said to be full of gut-friendly probiotics or, more specifically, acetobacter bacteria. Apple Cider Vinegar contains a host of beneficial nutrients including magnesium, iron, phosphorus, manganese, amino acids, antioxidants and has only three calories per tablespoon.
Apple Cider Vinegar's antibacterial properties can reportedly fight off pathogens in the body, such as E-coli, staphylococcus aureus and candida albicans. Apple Cider Vinegar has been shown to have antiviral, anti-yeast and anti-fungal benefits, which are all helpful in supporting your internal microbiome and overall immune balance.
Apple Cider Vinegar can also be used as a food preservative. Research shows it inhibits bacteria like E. coli from growing and spoiling food.
Whiter teeth and better breath

Healthy Hair
Pour a mixture of equal parts Apple Cider Vinegar and water onto your hair after shampooing to help restore its natural pH and combat that dry, brittle feeling. The anti-fungal properties of Apple Cider Vinegar can help reduce two of the main culprits of dandruff: oil build-up and excessive amounts of the yeasty fungus, Malassezia.
