Mesquite, also known as white carob, tastes much like white chocolate or vanilla-flavoured chocolate. 

Our wildcrafted mesquite powder has a unique flavour and natural sweetness adding depth and complexity to any dish. Often used as a rub, in a marinade, or as flavouring for baking, it is a great way to add nutrition and taste to your cooking.

Fun Fact: Mesquite pods are among the earliest known foods of prehistoric man. Native Americans saw it as an integral part of their culture where the pods served as food and were used for medicinal tea.
