This product is by its nature gluten-free. Tapioca flour is made from dried and ground cassava root. It is excellent for thickening sauces, soups and stews as well as for use in baking.

Tapioca flour can be used as an alternative to wheat flour in cooking / baking. For best results mix with other flours according to a recipe. Baking suggestion: Use xanthan gum / guar gum as a binding agent to improve the texture and volume of gluten-free baked products.
